What's new

StreetMap Premium for ArcGIS data is downloadable through My Esri. For details, see the StreetMap Premium Download Install Guide.

StreetMap Premium for ArcGIS 2018 releases have the following improvements and enhancements:

HERE

Q4 2018 Locator Update

The Locator Update is a new StreetMap Premium offering that is available to all StreetMap Premium users. It includes locators that are based off of more current HERE data, in this case: 2018 Q4. The Locator Updates will be released on My Esri on a quarterly basis for all five StreetMap Premium regions (Asia Pacific, Europe, Latin America, Middle East and Africa, and North America). They will contain a new style of locators similar to the ones used for the ArcGIS Online World Geocoding Service. However, since StreetMap Premium utilizes primarily HERE data for the source of address data, and the ArcGIS Online World Geocoding Service utilizes HERE data plus other vendors or public sources of information, some countries' geocoding results may vary. When using these new locators, it is always highly recommended that you run the most recent releases of ArcGIS Pro and/or ArcGIS Enterprise. To learn more about using the new locators in ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Enterprise, see Use the new locators. For specific information on this release, see the Release Notes.

Note:

There will be no Q3 2018 Locator Update release due to the delayed release of the Q2 2018 Locator Update and because the Q4 2018 new locators were already finalized. Moving forward, the Locator Update will release near the end of every quarter, following the quarterly update to the ArcGIS Online World Geocoding Service.
